Short Reviews of RiffTrax Shorts: Safety - Harm Hides at Home

It's Short Reviews of RiffTrax Shorts, our new series where the title is almost as long as the actual reviews!  We are going to take a look at a RiffTrax Short every day this year, until we run out of shorts.  That will get us through the majority of the year, so strap in for madness!

(Released March 27, 2008)

Take someone who is a freelance architect and volunteer school grossing guard, and then give her alien super powers.  It almost sounds like it should be the beginning of a super hero cartoon from the 80s.  Instead we get Guardiana (a.k.a. Safety Woman), with her shiny jumpsuit and red trashcan lid.

And how does Guardiana use her powers?  She goes around teaching kids about how fire is bad and how to properly cook hamburgers.

I have my list of Essentials- -we've already seen two others- -and this one is up near the top of the list.  When I want to introduce to someone to RiffTrax with a short, this is one that I often choose to show them.

This short gets five trash shields out of five, and is a PB&A Essential.
