This year's playlist brings us a monster, a barber with psychotronic powers, and hardpack. These riffs clock in just shy of four and a half hours, so they will last you well past handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.
This short is all about the monster that comes to kill you if you don't recycle. After it kills you, and separates you into skin, internal organs, and bones for easy recycling in Hell.
That's not what this short is actually about. It is actually about making a monster out of litter to raise awareness of litter. It's not nearly as fun, but at least it's kid friendly!
Our first feature of the evening is Uninvited, a movie about a killer cat that lives inside a larger cat, and is crawls out of the mouth to murder people.
It's like if Garfield's hatred of Mondays became a physical manifestation, and then climbed inside of Garfield's mouth and lived there, only to come out and threaten Jon if he didn't make enough lasagna.
Safety shorts from the 50s are the best. They always act as if the people watching them are the dumbest people in the world, and they WILL die if they don't watch them.
This one is no different. It tells you six beliefs, and how they WILL kill you!
This movie is one of those perfect movies for RiffTrax. It's about a barber who gets really drink and then gets psychic powers. Yeah.
There is one riff in here about a certain broken piece of equipment that had me laughing harder than I've laughed at any riff in any other movie.
There is no better way to end your Halloween than with Clint Howard. Especially Clint Howard as a killer ice cream man.
There are so many unanswered questions after watching this movie, but none more than trying to figure out why the HELL they call ice cream "hardpack" in this. THAT'S NOT A REAL THING MOVIE!
