Bottom Shelf Mixology: Big Game Super Punch

Welcome to Bottom Shelf Mixology!  We have racked our brains (and our livers) to come up with special "bottom shelf" versions of popular drinks, and some original creations that range from "oh, that might be interesting" to "that sounds absolutely disgusting".

Big Game Super Punch
  • 1 gallon Blue Flavored Drink
  • 4 cups of Popov Vodka
  • 2 liters Generic Store Brand Lemon-Lime Flavored Soda
  • 1 bag of Ice
  • 1 Orange
I think this might be our least disgusting drink so far.  It's really easy to make, too!

Get a big bucket (or a punch bowl if you don't want to be a man about it) and pour in the ice, blue drink, vodka, and soda.

Without peeling the orange, slice it.  Float the slices in the punch for that high-class look.

For maximum effect, drink all of it by the end of the first quarter.

Bottom Shelf Mixology: Cadbury Eggnog

Welcome to Bottom Shelf Mixology!  We have racked our brains (and our livers) to come up with special "bottom shelf" versions of popular drinks, and some original creations that range from "oh, that might be interesting" to "that sounds absolutely disgusting".

Cadbury Eggnog
  • 5 Cadbury Creme Eggs
  • 1 5oz. container Plain Yogurt
  • 4oz.  Barton Light Rum

Start by cutting the ends off (about 1/4 of the egg) of each Cadbury creme egg, but do not eat or discard.  Scoop out the creme filling and put it in a bowl.  Add the container of plain Greek yogurt and the rum to the bowl and mix thoroughly.

Re-fill the empty chocolate eggs with the resulting mixture.  Crumble the ends that you had cut off, sprinkle over the top of the new filling, and serve!

Don't be surprised if you wake up two days later from the resulting sugar coma.

Bottom Shelf Mixology Rejects Pt. 2

Welcome to Bottom Shelf Mixology!  We have racked our brains (and our livers) to come up with special "bottom shelf" versions of popular drinks, and some original creations that range from "oh, that might be interesting" to "that sounds absolutely disgusting".

Since the last set was so popular, we have decided to release another round of our rejected drinks. These are the drinks that sounded so bad, they were tossed out immediately - following the laughing and/or feelings of nausea they brought with them.

Even if, for whatever reason you might want to try the other Bottom Shelf Mixology recipes, don't try these.

The New Trailer for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is Here!

The first Avengers movie was awesome, and this looks like it's going to be better!  I don't have anything clever to say about this, because I'm just too excited!

Marvel's Ant-Man Teaser Trailer For Ants

Because, you see, it's small. This is a very clever move on Marvel's part.  And now, I am even more excited for the premiere of Agent Carter!

Also, if you want to see just how dumb people in YouTube comment sections can be, read the comments for this video.  So many people seriously complaining that the video is too small.

Bottom Shelf Mixology: Hipster Mimosa

Welcome to Bottom Shelf Mixology!  We have racked our brains (and our livers) to come up with special "bottom shelf" versions of popular drinks, and some original creations that range from "oh, that might be interesting" to "that sounds absolutely disgusting".

Happy New Year!  This new year brings with it some new Bottom Shelf Mixology recipes, and we are going to start things off with the perfect drink for you bottom shelfers.

The Hipster Mimosa

  • 1 32 oz. Hi-C Orange drink from McDonald's
  • 1 can Pabst Blue Ribbon

Next time you are out, stop at McDonald's and buy a 32 oz. size Hi-C orange drink.  Go home and stick it in your refrigerator.  This is about all of the preparation you need to do for this drink.

For this drink, you will only need half of the orange drink to make this drink, but it is still recommended that you purchase the 32 oz. size so you get the plastic cup.  This will hold up better for a longer period of time as opposed to the other McDonald's cups.

Grab a large mug, and fill half way with the Hi-C. Fill the rest of the way with the PBR.  If you have enough PBR left in the can, you can have another!

This drink is the best way to wake up and show the world that you quit before the day even begins!
