I was in the store earlier to pick up some milk and bacon, and I saw something that both horrified and intrigued me.
Yes, Nabisco apparently wants you to think that they have moved their bakery to Colorado. First we get Cookie Dough and Marshmallow Crispy Oreos, and now cookies that taste like root beer. How else would you come up with this idea? "Dude, we should, like, make cookies that taste like root beer."
Now, to be fair to Nabisco, Root Beer Float is just one flavor in a new series of four flavors under the Ice Cream Creations banner. The other three sounded good. There is Mint Chocolate Chip, Dulce De Leche, and Chocolate Mocha (or something like that, I don't remember for sure). Since those sounded pretty normal, I didn't really have much interest in them.
This strange flavor was irresistible to me. I couldn't help myself. I think I have a disease.

Review: Limited Edition Birthday Cake Pop-Tarts
This year is a milestone for Kellogg's, because fifty years ago, they started selling Pop-Tarts. To celebrate fifty years, they have released a new flavor of Pop-Tart: Birthday Cake. And unfortunately, instead of giving us gold for this special occasion, they only gave us silver.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer is Here!
I can not fully express how excited this trailer made me. So help me God, I almost let out a "squeee".
I am still in shock over the face that we are even getting a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. And the fact that it looks really awesome blows my mind. I'm thinking this movie will be a great lead in for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
If you are unfamiliar with the GotG (and you most likely aren't), the best way to describe it would be Firefly meets the Marvel Cinematic Universe meets Disney's money.
As Groot would say, "I AM GROOT!"

Nintendo Direct February 13
Today's Nintendo Direct started out with a bang. Or I guess a blamm. Right off the bat, we got conformation that Little Mac will be one of the new characters in Super Smash Bros. We were also told that the game would be out this year for both the Wii U and the 3DS.
Other highlights from the Nintendo Direct:
- Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) comes out on May 30
- Mario Golf: World Tour (3DS) and Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS) both release on May 2
- Yoshi's New Island (3DS) releases March 14
- Steel Diver Sub Wars (3DS) is a FPS version of the Steel Diver series. You can get a free version or a paid version with more subs and single player. Available now.
- Rusty's Real Deal Baseball (3DS) comes out in April. You have to buy each mini-game separate, but you can actually haggle over the prices of the games, and buy them at a lower price. Sounds weird.
- Pokemon Battle Trozei (3DS) comes out March 20
- Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy (3DS) is out February 28
- Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (3DS) comes out in early 2015 (SO FAR AWAY)
- NES Remix 2 (Wii U) comes out April 25
- We also got a look at Bayonetta 2 (Wii U) and X (Wii U)
You can check out the entire Nintendo Direct below.

Review: Limited Edition Cookie Dough & Marshmallow Crispy Oreos
The other night, while I was walking through the grocery store, I happened upon a rather large display for Oreos. I didn't think anything of it, and casually glanced at it as I passed by. It took a few seconds to realize that the Oreos on display were not the normal flavors. As I walked a few steps backwards to the display, I was able to fully take in the words on the packages. I saw two new flavors that I had no idea existed.
Cookie Dough Oreo.
Marshmallow Crispy Oreo.
I knew that I needed to buy them as soon as possible, and not just so I could review them. Since they are limited edition flavors, I was well aware that there was a good chance these would end up being rather difficult to find in the very near future. Thanks to the kindness of others, I got my hands on these two flavors today!
So how are they? One tastes just like its namesake and is amazing, and the other tastes a little strange.
