Nintendo 2DS: Nintendo Being Nintendo

That is not a typo.  That is the name of the latest redesign of the Nintendo 3DS.  The video below will explain.


So, this is what they have been spending their time on.  As a gamer, I think it is asinine.  As a parent, however, I like it, and I will tell you exactly why.

Halloween Movie Madness Prep: Evil Dead 2 Gifs

I've been working on the list of movies for this year's Halloween Movie Madness, and it has put me in a real Halloween mood.  Therefore, I have decided to spend some of my morning making gifs from one of my all time favorite movies: Evil Dead 2.  Think of it as preperation for this year's HMM.

I have also decided to provide them all in order, but without any commentary or context.  Mostly because I want to be lazy.

Tiny Toys I Found While Moving

As previously mentioned, my live has been hectic lately.  The main reason for that is the fact that we have been moving into a new house.  This process has allowed me to rediscover some little figures that I had stored away in a drawer for some reason.  All I can think is that I wanted my future self to discover them, wonder why in the world they were put away like they were, and make a post about them.

Since that is what I am choosing to believe, you get to look at them too!  I also have decided to include Itchy and a special guest for a handy size comparison.

1. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

These guys are looking a bit rough.  I don't remember having these years ago when they would have been new, but I must have played with them a lot, because they have a bunch of wear and tear.  I also think that the Pink Ranger and Black Ranger have the best mixed-up poses.

The Bottom Shelf: Kessler Whiskey

Welcome back to The Bottom Shelf with Russ!  Thanks for being patient for a new bottom shelf review, I needed a vacation.

Anyone that ever had whiskey has probably had Kessler Whiskey and didn't even know it.  From under the bar at every tavern to most punchbowls at high school dances, Kessler is everywhere.

Nintendo Direct Aug. 7: The Legend of Zelda Edition

A new Nintendo Direct came out today, and it was chock full of news on upcoming games.  There was some good news regarding The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and hunting for Triforce pieces.  If you don't want to watch the whole video, you can check out my summary after the jump.
