Why I Love Forget Paris & You Should Too
My last Why I Love post was for a dark, goofy comedy. This time, we're going to touch on a goofy romantic comedy: Forget Paris. Forget Paris stars Billy Crystal as Mickey, Debra Winger as Ellen, two people who meet in Paris through unusual circumstances, and then proceed to have a dysfunctional marriage that rivals my parent's. At least this one ends better.
I don't remember the first time I watched the movie, but I do remember really liking it. I actually showed it to my wife on the same weekend getaway that I made her watch The Stupids. That's besides the point.
Let's take a look at some of the reasons that you should love Forget Paris as much as I do.

Miiverse Now Available on the Web
The best part of this is that you can't just go and make an account without a Wii U. That way, people can't just make accounts and troll the place up. Smart move on Nintendo's part!

Thor: The Dark World Trailer
I was going to post this yesterday, but I didn't get around to it. So, better late than never?

Why I Love Drop Dead Gorgeous & You Should Too
Thanks to the response I got from my write-up on The Stupids, I figured I would write a little bit about another severely underrated movie: Drop Dead Gorgeous. This 1999 release is a mockumentary that follows a group of high school girls as they prepare for and compete in the local level American Teen Princess beauty pageant. It features murder, mayhem, and general idiocy. It also happens to be one of my top five comedies.
Let's take a look at why I love this movie so much. And yes, there are spoilers ahead.

Nintendo Direct 4/17 - EARTHBOUND, Bravely Default, & New Zelda Announced
Couldn't have said it any better myself, Nintendo! Even though this was mainly a 3DS centered Nintendo Direct, the news broke that Wii U owners throughout NA and EU can stop their complaining on Miiverse, because Earthbound will finally be heading to the Wii U Virtual Console this year. The Virtual Console itself will be available next week, included with the system update.
Earthbound on the VC isn't even the biggest news from this Nintendo Direct. We now know that Bravely Default will be flying over to NA sometime next year. That is awesome news, but 2014 is a long wait. The two Oracle games from The Legend of Zelda will be available on the 3DS eShop on May 30. That is some great Zelda news, however, the biggest news is the announced sequel for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. That news actually made me forget about this ear infection nonsense for a few minutes.
A bunch more was announced, like the new 3DS Mario Party, and the Animal Crossing 3DS XL bundle coming to NA, and EU, but you can catch the rest of the info in the video!

Guild01 Games Going Down on 3DS eShop
If you have been wanting to check out the cool Level-5 Guild01 titles on the 3DS eShop, but the prices were putting you off, now would be the time to strike! Well, maybe not now, but in a few days. Starting on April 18 and running through May 30, the three games will be on sale. Liberation Maiden from SUDA51 will be on sale at $4.99 (down from $7.99), Yoot Saito's Aero Porter will be $2.99 (down from $4.99), and the surprisingly in-depth Crimson Shroud from Yasumi Matsuno will be $4.99 (down from $7.99).
Crimson Shroud is the only one of the three that I currently own, and I would highly recommend that at the normal price. At $4.99, it's a steal. I will definitely be taking advantage of this sale to pick up the other two titles.
You can read the press release below.

Down WIth the Sickness
For the first time in a while, I got the flu. I wasn't even lucky enough to have one of the short lived strains either. I'm still recovering from it.
It's times like this where I am glad I have Netflix and Hulu Plus. We don't have cable TV, and if I had to be stuck watching daytime television I would probably never get better. Instead, I got to check out a few anime series that people keep telling me to watch, and I have also been able to watch Metalocalypse and Venture Bros. without having to get out of bed repeatedly to change DVDs.
And to people who say that "laughter is the best medicine", try watching funny stuff on TV after puking all day and night. Then come back to me and tell me if you still feel that way.

Uprising DLC for Call fo Duty: Black Ops II Bringing Ray Liotta to Xbox on April 16
The newest batch of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops II has been revealed as Uprising, and will be available for Xbox 360 on April 16. It brings that now standard four new maps and new Zombies setting called Mob of the Dead. Much like Call of the Dead from Black Ops, this one is bringing some star power with it. Not only does it feature Ray Liotta, but it also features Michael Madsen, Joe Pantoliano, and Chazz Palminteri. Pretty inspired casting for a mob themed level.
The DLC is going to be 1200 MS Points, and is, of course, included in the Season Pass. It will be headed to the PlayStation 3 and PC versions at a later date.

Grand Theft Auto V Box Art
After deciding not to post anything for April Fool's Day this year (not even real news, because you can't trust anything on the internet on April 1), I can post the Grand Theft Auto V box art.
Of course, we still don't know if the game will make it to the PC, and odds are good that we won't get even a sniff of it on the Wii U. We do know, however, that the game will be on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.
