Richard Simmons And Leprechauns

Those of you who follow this page on Facebook (and if you don't, why not? Click the "Like" thingy over on the right!), you would know that yesterday served up a few strange moments for me.

The first was this... interesting... video that I found on YouTube from none other than Richard Simmons.  Yes, Mr. Sweatin' to the Oldies himself.

I still don't know what to say about that.  That wasn't even the weirdest thing that happened yesterday.

About ten minutes before that, I was reading an article on Cracked about the Twitter account for McDonald's.  I decided to check it out, and at the time, this was their latest tweet:

I decided to make my personal feelings known about the Shamrock shake, and how it's basically a shell of the greatness it used to hold within.  I mean, let's face it, they were only good before they switched to the crappy "Triple Thick" shake mix, and the McCafe version is even worse.

Just after I posted the Richard Simmons video, I noticed I had a reply to my tweet, but it wasn't from McDonald's.

Obviously, the first thing I did after I got that was to check out the Short Dwarf website.  As it turns out, it is a character rental company that specializes in little people.  I had no idea such a thing existed, but now I am genuinely in love with the idea.  I think it's brilliant!  How great would it be to have an elf stop by the house right before Christmas?  That would blow my children's minds!  Or if you owned a bar, and hired a dwarf leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day!  Could you imagine being out drinking green beer and seeing a leprechaun running around?  I would probably try to get his gold from him.  I think he would need to be carrying around some chocolate gold coins too, solely for the purpose of satisfying idiots like me.

Go show them some love, and like them on Facebook.  After you've liked PBandAwesome, of course.
