Sacred™ Citadel: The mighty Safiri Warrior –a skull-busting front row badass!
Deep Silver details first character from action brawler Sacred™ Citadel
November 7, 2012 - LARKSPUR, CA - Three warriors stand against the evil Ashen Empire – one of them is the mighty Safiri Warrior.
One thrust to the left, one slash to the right and one uppercut to the front sends the attacking Grimmoc flying into the air! Enemies of the Safiri Warrior shrink back when this mighty hero enters the battlefield. In the heat of combat he stands at the front, deflecting the attacks of his opponents. This gives precious time to his companions to launch their special attacks against their foes.
Deep Silver today revealed details about one of the four character classes from the upcoming side-scrolling action brawler Sacred™ Citadel, to be released in 2013. The Safiri Warrior is the toughest of the heroes and represents the tank class of this RPG infused action fest. His forte are melee weapons and he is the only hero who can wield two- handed weapons. The skills of the Safiri Warrior are especially useful in view of the weapon combinations in Sacred Citadel that allow the hero to equip one separate weapon in each hand. His prowess in battle allows devastating attacks against his enemies.
This Warrior comes from the Safiri islands, an archipelago far to the south of Ancaria. Many hundred years ago his ancestors were known as seafarers and traders but also as savage pirates. The Safiri islanders’ religion tells them it is their duty to help the Ancarians free their land from the reign of the Ashen Empire.
Deep Silver today also revealed the official website for Sacred Citadel, offering a cornucopia of assets and information. It is accessible through the Sacred World website on http://www.sacred-world.com.
